ARP the world leader in fastener technology has just released a new Custom Age 625 Plus® head stud kit for 2003 to 2009 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke diesel application. Kit include a set of twenty Custom Age 625 Plus® head stud, twenty parallel ground washer, twenty 8740 chrome moly steel 12 point nut and ten 8740 bolt and washer that secure the intake side of the head to the block. This kit also include a 1/2 Ounce pack of ARP ultra torque fastener assembly lubricant. All Custom Age 625 Plus® stud are centerless ground, heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining, and are nominally rated at 270,000 PSI. These fastener deliver a 40 Percent increase in tensile strength over the OEM Torque to Yield (TTY) head bolt.
